Terms of service
Effective 11 May 2026.
Agreement
By using joshhunter.work, the voice demo, the AI consultant, the AI receptionist service, or any related product, you agree to these terms. If you're using any service on behalf of a business, you agree on behalf of that business as well.
What Hunter Dev offers
Voice demo and AI consultant. Free interactive tools on joshhunter.work. No account required.
AI voice receptionist service. A productized AI phone answering service for businesses — custom-configured, connected to a dedicated phone number and Google Calendar, available on a retainer basis.
One-day consulting engagement. A fixed-scope, fixed-price ($300) working day for a small business: AI and SEO audit plus in-day build work agreed on the preceding discovery call.
Custom build work. Any software development work agreed in writing between Josh Hunter and the customer.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer the AI to extract proprietary prompts or training data.
Do not use the demo or any part of the service to harass, deceive, or harm other people.
Do not scrape the site or the voice demo with automated tools.
Do not submit spam, illegal content, or anything intended to interfere with or degrade the service.
Customer accounts and connected accounts
When you connect a Google Calendar or other third-party account to the AI receptionist, you are responsible for the configuration and content of that account. You can revoke the connection at any time from your Google account settings or by emailing [email protected].
Payments
The voice demo and AI consultant are free to use. For consulting engagements and AI receptionist retainers, payment terms are agreed in writing per engagement. Failure to pay per the agreed schedule may result in service suspension.
Intellectual property
Code and content created specifically for a customer during an engagement is owned per the written engagement letter. The joshhunter.work site, the AI receptionist product, and any pre-existing tools or libraries remain the property of Josh Hunter / Zyzyva LLC unless otherwise agreed in writing.
AI behavior and accuracy
This service uses AI systems that can and do make mistakes — including wrong appointment times, misheard names, incorrect service details, and completely made-up information. You are responsible for verifying anything the AI tells you before relying on it. Hunter Dev makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or availability of AI-generated content.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Hunter Dev makes no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement.
Hunter Dev's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service, the demo, or any engagement is capped at the total amount you have actually paid Hunter Dev in connection with the specific service giving rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing — including all visitors to the voice demo, the AI consultant, and other free surfaces of this site — the liability cap is zero.
Hunter Dev is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities. These limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Tennessee or US federal law.
Termination
Either party may terminate a paid engagement per the engagement letter. Hunter Dev may suspend or terminate access for any user who violates the acceptable use section above, with or without prior notice, without refund obligation for any remaining prepaid period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable US federal law. Any dispute shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in the Tri-Cities Tennessee area, or via mutual written agreement to binding arbitration.
Changes
Hunter Dev may update these terms by posting a new version with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
